Mount Holyoke College

Founded by Mary Lyon in 1837, when higher education for women was a revolutionary idea, Mount Holyoke College is the nation's oldest continuing institution of higher education for women, the first of the "Seven Sister" colleges, and one of the finest liberal arts colleges in the country.
