Department of Food Science

The department of Food Science offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and research and extension programs. Areas of specialization include engineering and processing, chemistry and nutrition education. There are also multidisciplinary programs in cocoa, chocolate and confections, food safety, dairy foods manufacturing, ingredients as materials, plant and mushroom products, and family and community food systems
