Ion Beam Laboratory - Department of Physics - University At Albany

This laboratory is dedicated to research, education and public service using ion accelerators. Work performed includes materials analysis and high energy ion implant, high and medium energy implantation, XRF materials analysis principally for archaeometry, thin-film evaporation, lasers, I-V and C-V instrumentation, low temperature cryostatics, SEM, optical microscopy and alpha-step profiling.
