Created through the merger of Hamilton's two largest hospital corporations (Chedoke-McMaster and Hamilton Civic Hospitals). HHS provides general adult services in medicine, surgery, psychiatry and emergency services in addition to five main health programs; childrens health, womens health, specialty adult services, specialized rehabilitation and specialty adult services.
