The Port of Baton Rouge

The key role of the port is to provide deep draft and shallow draft marine facilities for the movement of waterborne commerce throughout the State of Louisiana, Mississippi River Inland Waterway System and for International Trade, accessing international markets for shippers and companies located at the port.
