Connecticut Society of Genealogist's

Founded in 1968 as a nonprofit organization to encourage and promote genealogical research and publication, to aintain and elevate genealogical standards and to provide instructional and educational programs and publications. Today, with a membership of 5,000+, CSG is one of the largest societies in the United States dealing exclusively with genealogy.
