Waxahachie Chautauqua Preservation Society

Waxahachie Chautauqua Auditorium, an unusual octagon-shaped 2500-seat open-air auditorium, was built in 1902 to accommodate the throngs of people attending the annual Chautauqua Assemblies of education, culture, art, and recreation.
