Bl. Frances d'Amboise

Biographical article in the Catholic Encyclopedia, on the Duchess of Brittany. While married, she was a great friend of the Poor Clares, Dominicans, and Carmelites. After she was widowed, she became a Carmelite herself, and died in 1485.
