Scouting movement expands - Brighton Community Press

Scouting is becoming a growing concern in Brighton. The 1st Brighton Scouting program has grown from thirty members in 2003 to fifty-seven strong this year. Brighton councillor Brian Ostrander may have summed up part of the reason for this sudden growth: "One thing you do that's different from when I was a Scout is that you let girls in," said Ostrander.
