Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

Built following a 1999 resolution of the German Parliament, the Memorial, located in immediate vicinity of the central Brandenburg Gate, commemorates the victims of the Holocaust. A remarkable symbol for Germany's facing the dark sides of its history.
