Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (ART)

A not-for-profit organization, founded in 1979, representing a diverse group of more than 330 archivists, librarians, and records managers. Aims to educate the public about the legal, historical and cultural value of public and private archives and manuscript collections through such events as archives week and family history fair, and to provide monthly meetings on issues of concern, and continuing education workshops and professional education opportunities for members.
