Confession by Nathan Birnbaum (1864-1937)

Full text of an abridged translation, published in 1946, of Dr. Birnbaum's Gottesvolk, published in 1917. The author, in his youth a secularist and a founder of the Zionist movement, describes his cultural odyssey which eventually brought him to Torah Judaism.
