Emergency Department of the Future

About this concept, conceived by the ACEPs Computer Section several years ago, the purpose of the EDOF is to educate the membership regarding the potential usefulness of automation technologies, to indicate the future impact of these technologies on the practice of Emergency Medicine, and to encourage appropriate planning by individual emergency physicians, physician groups, prehospital providers, and hospitals.
