The primary teaching hospital of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and School of Nursing, it serves as the tertiary care hospital for the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York and has been designated by the State as the region's Trauma Center. In addition to its primary care services, the hospital offers a variety of specialized services.
